Why Paranormal Entity Sucks

Paranormal Entity is like the exact copy of Paranormal Activity, but with a rapist entity. Who knew the paranormal could suck too?

The story is just basic, as a strange entity haunts a mother and her two children. We find out that the family lost the man of the house, and the mother tried contacting him beyond the dead. Upon contacting him (through letters), she lets in an evil entity from the paranormal world.

But the characters themselves are stupid. Why on earth did the mother try to contact the dead? If she cared for her husband that much, she would let him rest in peace! And if she didn’t start doing it, she wouldn’t have got into this horrible mess in the first place!

Worst of all, when the woman leaves her son in the house, she tells him that if anything bad happens, he should leave. Seriously? A demon has walked on the walls and chucked things around, yet she warns him now?

Our house is not safe. Let's stay in it.

Neither does she even call for immediate help. It's only the last minute when a medium comes into the house, but it's too late.

Her son (who mainly holds the camera) doesn’t ever seem to take his shoes off, and at least care for the safety of his sister and mother. He only cares when something bad happens, but like the majority of horror movies, the characters only let things get worse.

As cool as the demon seems, it’s still a pervert. And most annoying of all, it seems like a troll. Like the demon from Paranormal Activity, it takes ages to do things. Sometimes it doesn’t even be bothered, writing letters on the table. At the start of the film and in the middle, the demon merely knocks over crosses and moves the camera slightly. If it’s so angry, why doesn’t it just kill?

It’s not a paranormal entity, it’s just an entity that lacks consistency.

This movie wasn’t really a mockumentary, it was just a copy of Paranormal Activity. It was however, creepier and allowed us to look more into the characters, but this made us see how the characters were really stupid. The demon seemed more violent than the one in Paranormal Activity, but it still seemed to have a symptom of constant personality changes throughout the film. It had so many chances to do it’s dirty business when the girl was in her room, but it decided to move the camera and write letters on a table. It wasted it's time. And our time too.

That being said, we’re definitely going to mock-this-mentary.
