Why Jeepers Creepers Sucks

Jeepers Creepers is a horror movie entailing innocent victims who are prone to being slaughtered by a strange yet ugly creature called ‘The Creeper’ who comes alive from his scarecrow-like corpse to kill and eat for twenty-three days in every twenty-third spring. Trish from Jeepers Creepers 1 sums up the story quite well, saying,

“You know the part in scary movies where somebody does something really stupid and everybody hates them for it? Well, this is it!”

Thanks to the stupidity of our characters, the Creeper gets a lot of kills in these movies.

But why does the Creeper even need to smell fear? He really likes smelling, but in that time he smells, he can be attacking and eating his victims. His disgusting-looking nose is merely an attempt to make the monster more ‘unique’, but really... he’s useless.

Another reason why he’s useless is that he takes his time. If he only comes alive to kill for twenty-three days, then we’re pretty sure he’d be at it like a fly on poop! But like a typical monster, he just takes his time and plays hide and seek.

The Creeper also wastes his resources in this small amount of time! If he wants to regenerate his body parts (like how he does), he might as well eat all of his victims, not only parts of them (like eating the head on the top of the bus in Jeeper Creepers 2).

There are many people dying across the world due to poverty, yet this sucker wastes precious food!

In Jeepers Creepers 2, after the Creeper’s time is up, he’s hung in a shed as a farmer guards his corpse, telling us that he’s ready when the corpse comes alive again. But he’s only got a old harpoon. That won't help!

The farmer is also braindead for not burning the Creeper to a crisp, blowing it up a hundred times, feeding its ashes to the dogs and burning their poop.
