Why Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D Sucks

Katy Perry is quite the singer, and she’s made a new movie highlighting her musical and personal life that has brought her fame and wealth. But it seems that Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D, is just helping bring in that fame and wealth.

First of all, why it's in 3D, we have no idea...

Without a doubt, Katy has had a lot of influences in her music, like Madonna and Lily Allen. But throughout the film, she barely makes any acknowledgement of her inspirations. Let’s face it, she isn’t original. With all the costumes, makeup, and styling, it just ends up looking like a kiddy version of Lady Gaga.

In the film, we get to see the hard-working people behind the scenes, like choreographers and dancers. But we get the impression that Katy seems to think the world revolves around her.

We do not see much of Russell Brand however, Katy Perry’s ex, and it seems Katy didn’t want him included. It would've been great to see what Russell was doing at the time of the breakup. But instead, we get a scene of the singer sobbing, who then recovers herself. It’s like the movie deliberately wants us to feel sympathetic. And of course, the fans will be giving her that sympathy.

Likewise, the film aims to show us the ‘hardships’ of this rich and beautiful popstar, but breaking up with someone is nothing compared to the millions of people starving and dying around the world. Get a grip!

Nevertheless, the hype around this film is absolutely horrendous. As an example, various tabloids have done their reviews about it, and they just seem to be sucking up to the artist. Most of them even feature trailers at the end of the articles so it seems like they were paid to do it!

In conclusion, we’re sure Katy is a wonderful person.

But lots of people play up to the hype of this film. Even if it sucks.
