The story first introduces Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) as the head of an all-mutant school. It also introduces a good friend turned into an enemy Eric Lencher a.k.a. Magneto. Magneto tries to copy his powers onto a young girl known as Rogue (Anna Paquin) to power a machine that turns all humans into mutants but almost kills Rogue in the process.
Great going Magneto…
Magneto, our evil villain is just a sucker. His main goal in this film is to wage war on humans, by turning them into mutants. It makes no sense. Why would he turn his enemies into what he is? By doing this, he would be giving his enemy a great gift! And even mutants can be bad and good, so it’s not like the humans-turned-mutants would automatically be on Magneto’s side. Most of them will track him down and kill him.
We hereby, conclude the plot makes little sense and sucks.
Other silly characters in the film include Mystique, who barely fights and just seems like a rejected Playboy model.

Toad, is a annoying pesk, jumping on walls and what not, and Sabretooth is just the reincarnation of Beast from the classic kids film Beauty and the Beast. The evil Senator has no personality and really lacks creativity (he turns into a blob).
We’d think Cyclops can master his laser ability. After all, he's a teacher at the all-mutant school for years now and doesn’t have a high level mutant ability like how he seems to have in this film. His constant bickering with Wolverine is unrealistic, because everyone knows that Wolverine would slice Cyclops to smithereens! Rogue is also not a woman like in the comics but just a feeble girl.
The movie certainly allows people who haven’t read the comics gain a good understanding about what the film is about and what you can expect. But the film is sluggish (like the Senator) and it lags in various parts. So for the extensive amount of suck, we give the Men an X.
